====== Noraxon EMG Files ======

[[Visual3D:Documentation:EMG:EMG_Overview|EMG signals]] collected with Noraxon independently of the motion capture system (e.g. synchronized at the first frame, but otherwise sampled independently) can be translated into a [[Visual3D:Documentation:C3D_Signal_Types:C3D_Format|C3D]] file from the original ANB file format, or can have the ANALOG signals imported into an existing C3D file containing motion capture and/or force platform data. More recently Noraxon will export C3D files directly.

Signals from these files can be imported into Visual3D using the [[Visual3D:Documentation:Pipeline:File_Commands:Import_Signals_From_C3D_File|Import_Signals_From_C3D_File]] command.

**Note: if the ANALOG signal rate from the Noraxon file is inconsistent with the C3D file, Visual3D will resample the data to match the data rate of the ANALOG data in the c3d file format and/or resample the data as an integer multiple of the POINT rate.**
