Step 1: Create CMZ Files (Visual3D)
The first step is to create a CMZ file for each subject/session using Visual3D.

This tutorial provides a good overview of the steps required to build a CMZ file.

Step 2: Set path to data directory
After opening Inspect3D:
# Click the load library button on the toolbar to open the Library dialog:
## Click <b>Browse</b> to open a dialog that allows you to select a file path
## Select the top level folder/root directory which contains the CMZ files
## Click <b>Select Folder</b>
# Click <b>Load</b>
# Close the Library dialog

NOTE: Loading the library populates the Group Definition dialog (i.e. this is how Inspect3D knows what signals exist in the CMZ files).

Step 3: Define groups
Open/Define the Group Definitions:
* <b>Group Definitions</b>: Allows you to define group definitions for the first time and opens the Group Definition Dialog
* <b>Load Group Def & Compute Groups</b>: Loads a Q3D file containing group definitions and query the open library. If you've previously defined groups and saved the definitions, you can use this option.

Defining new group definitions:
# Open the Group Definition Dialog
## Manually create group definitions OR Click <b>Auto-Populate Groups</b>
## Click <b>Calculate All Groups</b>
## Close the dialog

Step 4: View Data
# Click on data to determine what you would like to view
## Selecting different workspaces determines which one is displayed
## Define the plot options to determine what is displayed
## The Options Dialog allows you to change the plot options (like display 3 plots)
## The gray bounding box around the plot identifies which plot is currently being modified
## You can exclude traces by left clicking on them to highlight them and then right clicking and selecting Exclude

Step 5: Save Workspace
Click <b>Save Workspace As</b> to save the work you've done so far

Note: This saves the work as an I3D file which is an XML file. If you have excluded data, keep in mind that your CMZ files are out of sync with your I3D workspace at this point (so if you re-queried the data, you would need to exclude the traces again). To avoid the CMZ files being out of sync with the I3D workspace, you can use the Pipeline function to update the CMO's at any point.

Step 6: Export Data
Step 7: Update CMZ Files (Optional)
